Spring has come

More than a half month has past since the spring equinox. The days are getting longer and longer. Swallows have arrived from southern places. Various flowers have begun blooming. Spring has come!

Happy new year (belated) 2022

Hi, friends. Let me say a belated happy new year. It falls on the new year's day of Japanese lunar almanac today (February 1st on the Gregorian calendar this year). I'm grateful of all of you for your support and warm heart in the past year. I hope you are doing well and have peaceful days. 

2021 November greeting

Hi, friends. How have you been recently? More than half a month has past and the winter solstice will come in less than a month. How fast time flies.

As it has been warmer than usual this year, leaves of momiji maple tree in my garden were still green earlier this month, but they have gradually turned red these days. Yuzu citrus fruits in my garden had slight yellow tint a few days ago, but now, they are eye-catching vivid yellow.

Late summer greeting 2021

Hi, friends. How have you been? It had been raining so long this month here. I hadn't seen blue sky for about ten days. Meanwhile, I also hear heavy rain or serious heat wave had hit on some other areas on this planet. How's your place? I hope you are all doing well.

One day in those rainy days, I stopped by a larger library for refreshing. The number of visitors seemed more than usual, and I thought they might think similar things with me; the library is the best place to walk around on a rainy day.

Hi, friends. How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. 

Summer has come. It got so hot that it's like everyday is perfect for laundry just after this year's long rainy season ended. I'm now surrounded with loud voices of cicadas.
